There is a new and really innovative way to cool and heat a living or working space. The technology is going by many names – ductless air conditioning, mini split air conditioner and others. What it essentially is, is an air conditioner that is split into 2 units, similar to central air conditioning. The difference from central air conditioning is that the units are places relatively close to each other, one outside and one inside. The outside unit is the compressor unit just like in a central air conditioner system. The inside unit simply hangs on the wall and hoses and wires connect the 2 units together.

We were recently in Europe, and we noticed that mini split ac units were prevalent, actually they were all over. It fascinated us to see that they were so common there.
